Stay Safe this Halloween
Hey guys it is that time of the year again Halloween is upon us, conjuring up tasty treats, pumpkin carving and of course getting your costumes ready for the night. Halloween is full of fun and enjoyment but it pays to keep in mind to be careful while out and about this Halloween. Below are some handy tips to help you stay safe this week.
It is important that when you leave the house remember to check it and lock it before you head out. Given the fact that a lot of families go out with their children to trick or treat it is even more important to be extra careful to detour opportunistic burglars.
Stop Look and Listen
The roads will be extra busy over Halloween as all the ghouls and ghosts will be out getting their sugar fix. Bear in mind that a lot of Halloween costumes are dark and masks impair vision so be extra careful when crossing roads.
If you decide to get behind the wheel this Halloween doesn't forget that there’ll be lots of children out and about, so go extra slow especially in built-up areas. No matter what might be going on around you spooky costumes, fireworks or whatever other mayhem Halloween may throw up. Keep your eyes on the road at all times.
Please stay safe if you are using fireworks this Halloween. Never go near a lit firework, even if it hasn’t gone off, as it could still explode and always let fireworks cool be fore trying to dispose of them. Have a bucket of water at hand for sparklers.
